Teet Jüring was born on the 20th of November in 1956 in Pärnu. He started his karate trainings in 1986 and in 1987 he joined a shotokan karate club. He started teaching karate in 1991 in the karate club “Vector” in Pärnu. In 1994 he established his own karate club „KK Zen”. At the moment the club has three different training places - in Pärnu, Tori and Viljandi.
In 1998 he passed Shodan exam under Ochi Hideo sensei 8th Dan Japan Karate Association; in 2001 Nidan exam under Ochi Hideo sensei 8th Dan Japan Karate Association and in 2009 he was ranked as Sandan by Mahmoud Tashvishi sensei 5th Dan Japan Shotokan Karate Association.
Teet is also recognized as national A level instructor by JSKA Estonia

He has trained and learned in several international training camps under such world-class senseis as Okazaki Teruyuki 10th Dan, Asai Tetsuhiko 10th Dan, Abe Keigo 9th Dan, Nishiyama Hidetaka 9th Dan, Shirai Hiroshi 9th Dan, Yaguchi Yutaka 9th Dan, Iida Norihiko 8th Dan, Ochi Hideo 8th Dan, Kawasoe Masao 8th Dan, Risto Kiiskilä 6th Dan, Akita Shinji 5th Dan, Mahmoud Tashvishi 5th Dan and many more.
